Where you are now

Maintenance is scheduled from memory and a wall calendar. A machine has missed a service interval twice this year and nobody noticed until it broke. On the production floor, a batch problem takes an afternoon to trace back to its source, because the paperwork exists but nothing links it together. Punctuality gets reported once a month, by hand, from a spreadsheet that someone rebuilds from raw messages.

What the system does

You set the maintenance interval: by calendar date or by usage.
The system opens a work order when the interval is due.
Every job records what was found, what was done, and by whom.
On the production side, every batch is traced from input to output.
Punctuality is measured directly from the source data, not re-typed from it.

What Operations and Scheduling does not do

It does not perform the maintenance or run the production line. It schedules the work and records what happened.
It does not source spare parts on your behalf. It tells you what is needed and when.
It does not cover punctuality causes outside the airline’s own operation, weather and air-traffic-control delays are coded, not resolved.
